Chamberlain College of Nursing

Chamberlain College of Nursing teamed up with SteadyRain to create a new look and feel for the Chamberlain corporate website. The goal was to improve the ease of navigation for current and potential students while incorporating a fresh design that reflected Chamberlain’s growing sophistication as a brand. The Chamberlain website needed to be flexible and allow for room to grow within its user-friendly content management system, DotNetNuke. This was a critical element, as the college itself would be expanding in both program offerings and campuses. The result is a clean, vibrant new design for the corporate website with distinct landing pages for each program and campus, which have uniqueness to them, but still echo the overall site design. As website traffic continues to climb, Chamberlain and SteadyRain continue to create new strategies that reflect the changing needs of this exploding business.

Ben Hur Construction

The goal of this project was to develop a website that would become the cornerstone of Ben Hur Construction’s 100-Year Celebration and portray it as an established and innovative firm. Ben Hur wanted to properly organize their service offerings to reach diversified target audiences, while drawing special attention to their numerous, life-long achievements. Before partnering with SteadyRain, Ben Hur Construction had a simple, static website with an outdated design. After a consulting engagement, that included competitive research both locally and nationally, SteadyRain reorganized the sites navigation to reflect the importance of a project portfolio and the company’s strong safety record and devised an interactive timeline on which landmark projects could be plotted. The project resulted in the development of a timeless website in the DotNetNuke content management system, which enables the staff to manage and edit the website’s content. Ben Hur received business leads within two weeks of the new site’s launched.

Great Rivers Greenway

SteadyRain assumed the development and maintenance duties for the Great Rivers Greenway website in 1999. After reverse engineering much of the system, SteadyRain has continued to develop this proprietary “site manager” tool that allows members to update basic site content. In recent years, SteadyRain has added user-generated content opportunities to the website through the creation of a Photo Journal that allows trail users to post their favorite photos taken within the River Ring. Likewise, SteadyRain reworked and upgraded the graphic design of the site’s home page to support a greater amount of fresh content that is managed by the staff at GRG. Finally, SteadyRain expanded the Greenway Detail pages within the site to include even more managed content and embedded photography from GRG’s own archives as well as integrated applicable photos from the Photo Journal into these pages to spotlight the scenic nature of each Greenway. SteadyRain continues to create new, fresh ideas for the GRG website. Future goals include transitioning the website into the DotNetNuke content management solution, incorporating a new design and developing content specific to the trails, which have resulted from the project plans that were once the focus of the site.

Anheuser-Busch NASCAR Red Alert

SteadyRain partnered with NASCAR and Anheuser-Busch to create an interactive game which allowed visitors to Budweiser.com to sign up on this promotional website and participate in a NASCAR fantasy sports game. After sign-up, the visitors would be assigned a random action such as "First to Cross Finish Line" or "First to Take a Pit Stop" which would become their chance to win the game—by choosing the driver they thought had the best chance to meet that criteria. Players could login in and check progress on their driver each weekend and see if they had won. This promotion was so successful that it ran through several NASCAR seasons and is in talks of being revitalized for the upcoming season.

Anheuser-Busch "Wild On" E! Event Marketing Program

SteadyRain also teamed up with E! Entertainment Television’s “Wild On” and Anheuser-Busch to support an event marketing campaign that travelled the beaches of America through the summer. The event marketing firm would set up a kiosk photo booth at each event, which gave participants the opportunity of having their pictures taken at each event. These photographs were uploaded to a website that allows those same participants to find themselves on the Budweiser.com website and allowed online visitors the ability to vote for their favorite pictures. Winning photographs won prizes such as merchandise and trips to other Budweiser events.
