Duties And Responsibilities

Account Management
A strong candidate for this position will be excited to:
  • Interact with client contacts on a day-to-day basis
  • Build real and meaningful relationships with client contact through delivering at a high level
  • Manage client expectations around deliverables and deadlines on software and website development projects
  • Actively listen and ideate with clients and the SteadyRain team to find ways to grow SteadyRain's value proposition within a client's Digital Strategy
Business Analysis & Solution Concepting
A strong candidate for this position will have experience in and/or a deep desire to:
  • Accept client requests via various, sometimes simultaneous, methods of communication
  • Review client requests for validity, accuracy and, ultimately, level of importance
  • Consider each client request for its intent or purpose rather than the specific request to ensure alignment with overall client Digital Strategy
  • Process each client request into a specific, detailed set of initiatives and/or tasks 
  • Have a functional knowledge of basic software and web technology to include domain name service, website hosting, structured content, content relationships, data design and database relationships
Drive Solutions to Completion
A strong candidate for this position will have a kind demeanor with the ability to lead a team complete solutions, and have a detailed orientation to:
  • Assign tasks to specific members of the Research & Development team
  • Answer questions, provide clarification, direction set, follow up and ensure execution of tasks by the Research & Development team
  • Review tasks, upon completion, and quality assurance that the completion of the task aligns with the client request and the intended outcome.  
  • Assisting the digital project management team with effective planning, tasking, and tracking of project work
Project Knowledge & Ownership
A strong candidate will be highly organized and have the ability to manage budgets and numbers to include:
  • Review, interpret and manage time logs for specific tasks within a project and for a project overall
  • Maintain active knowledge of project completion status based on completed tasks versus remaining tasks
  • Maintain active knowledge of project budget status based on hours incurred versus hours remaining
  • Manage multiple projects of diverse sizes, scopes and budgets concurrently
  • Actively identify opportunity for and initiate change orders should client requests extend beyond current project scope of work

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in managing software or web development project—digital agency experience preferred
  • At least three (3) years of professional work experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, ideally in the context of external client communications (not, simply, internal within an organization)
  • Strong customer relations, time management, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience exception-handling and anticipating possible exceptions from team members and clients
  • A hybrid logical and creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to adapt and manage changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong follow-up and follow-through talents
