Through a web consulting engagement, SteadyRain partnered with Carr Lane Manufacturing Co, a world leader in tooling components, industrial parts & fixture manufacturing, to optimize Car Lane’s marketing website and better reach its online target audience. Additionally, the new site would be designed to integrate with Carr Lane’s existing internal systems.
Solution
SteadyRain and Carr Lane collaborated on a digital strategy that targeted an online consumer audience, and included a powerful ecommerce strategy, before entering the development process. Together, the path to conversion for website visitors was shortened; made possible by simplifying online forms and allowing basic product look-up and availability information by integrating the manufacturing company’s internal systems. By developing distributor and customer portals, along with integrating product information management systems with their ERP systems, the user’s experience was effectively streamlined.
